40726= 1970 Z28. I have the original one from my engine and I just bought an NOS one from Goat Hill, so I know that number.

I have a 40726 AC pump that is stamped CI40726 (March 1969 Ive been told)

The Outlet Threaded Female Fitting is smaller than my 197J40726 (197th Day 1970)
My assy line 70 Z28 Fuel Line (pump to carb) fits the 197J pump, but not the March 69 pump..... Can someone explain what my March of 69 40726 was applied too ?????

This is my CI (March, 69) 40726 , that I would like to learn what engine/car was it used on

The surface above the stamping looks "disturbed" or not as clean as other areas of casting
Might this be a restamp...........I sent pump to GOAT HILL and received this back ???????????
