67 Yenko Corvette

If anyone has any information regarding 67 Yenko Vettes whether it would be links, location of one, or anything, please reply. I am trying to track down a particular 67 Yenko Corvette and have hit dead ends so I'm looking for any help at all. Thanks for your help.

Are you talking about a 67 Corvette that Don Yenko raced or one that was sold by Yenko Chevrolet?

This is Yenko's '67 race vette. These pics were taken by the last owner in Florida who was selling the car for $450,000. I do not know where it is now, nor do I know for sure if this one was the first L88 vette.

Thanks for your help. We are looking for a '67 race vette built by Yenko, and the one you found might be it. However, the rollbar, paint job, and front end look different in these pictures. We were told that the vette was sold to a collector in florida though, so it may be it. We will try to send some pictures in by the end of the week, we need to get them scanned first though. Thanks once again for your help. If you want to hear a horror story, my dad sold the vette in the early 80's for 20 grand. Could you tell me the name and any information regarding that collector so I could contact him? Even if that wasn't the same vette he may know about any others that are around. Thanks.

I believe that picture is the 1966 Corvette L72 M22 that some people say is one of two built with a special engine code.

You might be correct, I don't remember what year the advertisement said it was, and I don't remember who was selling it. I downloaded those pics from some autos-for-sale site about 3 years ago.

There is a super modified 1 owner 67 427 Vette in my town that was sold new and modified by Yenko. I have not seen it in years. I think it may be time to pay a visit..BKH
