Default Air Conditioning on Copo

Did air conditioning come on a COPO? Have a guy who I know that has a clone and he said that his information says they could be ordered with AIR Cond. If it was, I assume that it came with the hydrolic lifter cam? I have yet to see a chevy with A/C that came with a solid lifter cam from the factory.

No A/C on COPO, L78 or Z/28. (all solid lifter cars)
The 840 heads only have 1 of the 3 bosses for the lower rear bracket. My car started life as a small block with A/C, so my Tribute car has A/C. I used the one bolt hole for alignment, and had to modify the standard bracket so it would pick up two manifold bolts for the other two.

A couple of the mid-year Vettes had AC with solid lifters, they were the only exception.

were there any big block solid lifter cars built by factory with AC. The AC equipped solid lifter cars I know of were all SB.

No solid lifter big block cars came with A/C. As noted above the only solid lifter small blocks were the 64 & 65 365 horse Corvette and the 72 LT1 Corvette.
