Default '69 RS/SS Camaro in the barn, NOT!

Well guys made it back to Montana over the Holiday and had a few minutes to check out the 69 RS/SS Camaro I mentioned awhile back that was stored in an open barn on the relativeís property, NOT!!

As I walk up from an angle I notice the taillights are missing and definitely not a 69 car! Turns out to be a 67 4P car! Mostly still there, the right motor is not in the car, but it is not a complete pile either it looks worse than it is, it looks like they pulled the vinyl roof and welded up the holes and started chemical stripping it here and there, has a little rust in the right rear wheel well and lower front driver fender, The back window is out and the local Squirrels have taken up Home in the car and packed it full of big pine cones! To funny.

I did not give it the super inspection as the owner is one of those very strange fellaís, I did not have time to run over to the town he lived in to try and speak with him face to face, I have called off and on over the last year, since I was told of the car and have never been able to get him on the phone to talk with him about selling it, I had the word sent his way about wanting to discus the car with him but never have received a call, so I would say it doesnít look good, who knows I will try some more,

When I got home and decoded the trim tag turns out it was built the second week of Nov like my car, now my curiosity is up now, I wonder how close it is to my car, it also is a 11B car.

Anyway trivial stuff but a few guys had asked I post up what I found back there, and I know how it bugs me when people post up about barn finds and never tell what was found, I will see if Denis will post up the pics for me, I have a heck of a time getting them to look good and still load up here.

last one I will say that rear tail panel looks pretty good and if its a GM peice being a RS part it would bring a nice price on E-bay after it was removed and cleaned up

Hmm, gold-gold car with nice options, looks like it could be the original 350. Budnate, would you mind posting the trim tag info?

Thanks,
-Sam

Sam, let me finish trying to get the car, its a pretty basic REAL RS/SS 4P car, it has a cool ext color S-6 Sierra fawn, I need to dig out my Book to see the color, I assumed when looking at the car it was granada gold, but that is not the case.

Bud.
