Default 1970 Judge Color breakdown

Does anyone know the exact color breakdown for 70 Judges? I know that Mint Turquoise was the most rare color for 70 GTO production followed by Orbit Orange, Starlight black was third or fourth in least produced colors. Atoll blue was the most popular. No one seems to have the color breakdown for the Judges, anyone have any info?

Hi, the colors are broke down in a GTOAA june 1997 legend. The Orbitorange(618) is lowest, mint turq(774), burgundy(1,246),palmino copper(1,457), black(1,515). this is list for GTOs. I've not seen breakdown for color # for Judges.

There's some guy on the PY site who has compiled some care, but it's less than scientific. For example, he has no Atoll Blue cars, even though I think they are in the top 3 of the most popular Judge colors.

What I think is cool is Orbit Orange standard GTOs. I know of one. Was the car in Two Lane Blacktop another one?

There was a 455 D-port, convt @ the 96 nats in Atlanta. It was orig. orbitorange non judge. As I said before GTO AA has list of GTO colors, but no # breakdown for Judges. Atoll blue the most common, after seeing so many green ones out there, I'm surprised.

The one in Atlanta was the one I was talking about.

The production figures by color are available in a few books, most notable Tom Demauro's. I believe all the dark greens were pretty much "up there" in popularity, if memory serves correct.

Hi, alth ough I was born @ end of 1960s, i think the green was popular among the GIs. They were prob. so used to seeing it all the time. The car in Atlanta was a rough one. Do you have any pontiacs??

Atoll Blue was popular I know of three RA IV Judges. One was owned by GTO_Don, another one was right down the street and a third one was at the nationals a few years back. I should try to hook up with Jim M, the company I work for has software that takes micro film and digitizes it. You can then perform searches for particular codes and phrases like L67 or Ram Air IV, color codes or even search by vin or dealer . It would be awesome to have that type of a tool available to really crunch some numbers, you could then cross reference to VIN's that are still active and ones not yet found to see what is left out there.

Does anyone have any pics of different colored judges than what I've seen? I've only seen orange and silver judges, and maybe a pic of a yellow one? I'm not a real big pontiac fan, so I've never seen any other colors than what I've seen at the local car shows. Thanks guys!
