Default Help on Turbo 400"CW"

Hi all,
I'm trying to identify a Turbo400 and I hope you can help. It's coded "CW" and when I look it up in the Turbo 400 Trans. book it shows a 1970 Chevelle with a 400ci.engine. The person that owns it (a 63 year old guy) swears that he removed it in 1970 from a 1970 Nova with a 402 with square port heads and a solid lifter cam. He also is sure that this engine/trans combination was the original that came in the car. The trans has the torque converter that mounts in six locations like the "CY" TH400 that I have used in the past. The "CY" 's came on solid lifter big block Corvettes like an L89, L88, or LS6. I'm just confused by the "CW". The guy seems like a straight shooter and definately knows his stuff on BB's as he raced many of them over the years. Has anyone had any experience with a "CW"? Thanks!
