Default 20+ muncie trans what #'s should i look for

i got to talking with a guy recently and he has "over 20 muncies" and about the same # of t-10's and a pile of saginaws, he used to build racing 4 speeds. i am going to check out his stash what casting #'s and dates should i be looking for, what are they worth. he basically stated he has had them sitting around for years and wants to get rid of some of them. thank for any help.

You might want to take note of the VIN stamps. I would be interested to know of any 68-72 Willow Run units. Stamped with a W.

Thanks,
Greg

Indy,
T-10 main cases cast: T10-1C are the first aluminum cases and used in '61 and '62. I'd be very interested in any that have VINs. The original trans from my car is still lurking out there somewhere.....
It's hard to set a general value. Sometimes the cases are worth more than the guts.

Verne

thanks guys, ive been scanning ebay to get some background pricing, he's a couple of states away im trying to get an idea what he wants out of them, i may buy up all the 4 speeds and see what i get if the prices is right. if i can get them ill post up every number so everyone can pick and choose. it will be a couple of weeks before i can get down to see him. im moving this month and my pile of engines and parts is gonna be a b#tch. thanks
