69 L89 Cylinder Head Pics, Original
I have a set of original unblasted low mile L89 842 heads and I noticed that they have original Chevy Orange overspray near the bottom of the head. This is shown below:
  I guess the assembly plant painted the engine with heads and exhaust manifolds in place. You can see the outline of the manifolds from the spray pattern. Very interesting. Paul 69 Camaro SS L78

After you write your reply make sure the box marked "I want to preview my post and/or attach a file" is marked. On the next screen it will give you an oppertunity to attach a picture.

Looks like he has the L89 heads (?) and has added the overspray to the front of the head. Do you have any details on the engine concerning the heads, block, and internals?
Anyone also have any pics of an original L89 engine or heads to see what the factory did when painting the engine? Thanks, Paul 69 Camaro SS 396 L78
