Default 67 Brain Picker

I found this 67 camaro, Was bought at the Barrett Jackson Auction, Palm Beach in 04 by a collector who has passed on, when he found out he only had a short time he sold this car to a guy who was taking care of all his cars (basically washing them). the car is an LA build, a 68 L-89 427 with vette vin number, 4 speed 4p on cowl tag, big block heater core cut off at fire wall. Also 4 wheel disc's, single leaf. At auction car came with original motor which this guy didnt know, I ask him for it and he locates it and has it shipped. A MV 350 shows up and looks like a restamp, but is wrong anyway as its for an automatic, no air. Anyone have any ideas here? the guy who got this at auction has been a collector for along time and is now gone so cant ask him anything, new owner doesnt know anything about cars other than kind of wax you put on them. Why would this guy pay 43,000.00 grand for a clone you can get any place for 20-25? Could this car be a real one?

Whats your Trim Tag Info on the car. Is there any history with the car as selling dealer/ past owners?

The photos didnt come out too well, Most likely this car is just a clone, but the big block heater box looks original...and the guy that bought it at auction was a pretty astute collector. Maybe money laundering? I doubt Nickey or whoever would pull an auto and put in a 4 speed. When you look at the car alot of things dont make sense

That sure looks like the Nickey clone that's been on eBay a couple of times in the past 6 months.

That motor was probably stamped V1114MV? It's the original one from what I know. Car has a POP too.
