Check out December 2005 issue of "Mopar Action"
which is currently being sold on newsstands. In the Article Titled "Gator Aid", you will find Mark Murphy's 1970 440 Six-Pack Challenger painted in Go Mango Orange w/ Gator Grain vinyl roof. Very Awesome Looking car that was formerly owned and restored by Supercar member Bruce Hershberger who lives in Soldotna, Alaska. I Just wanted to recognize Bruce and comment on his work because I have seen it first hand. This past spring I purchased a 1969 RS/SS L-78 Camaro that Bruce once owned and restored. Bruce restored it about 10 years ago and the attention to detail and technical correctness is truly awesome. Everytime someone new looks at my car, I get the same comments on the quality of the restoration. I have seen a lot of restorations and Bruce's work is second to none. I sometimes have to call Bruce to ask for advice/help when working on my car. He always stops what he is doing and takes the time to help me ( God knows I need it). Anyway, Thanks Bruce. Another awesome restoration you can be proud of. You are truly an asset to the muscle car hobby ![]() Darrell |

I think it's great to have someone speak out about a man's contribution to this hobby, The skills, and ability to make things right, and correct. I hope some day soon we'll all see the 69 Camaro that Bruce once had, and has restored for the new owner Daryl- the Knoxville pig.....
