Default BB Nova Radiator, also need some other info

Could anyone tell me the dimensions on a BB radiator for 68-70 Nova? I am swapping the original L48 small block out of my 72 SS for a mild 454. Would like to get an aluminum rad and get factory type repro shroud & flap. Anyone know what carb, intake, and exh manifolds came factory on a 72 NOVA SS? Mine were long gone when I bought the car. Thank You!

The front core support for a big block car is different. Larger hole for larger radiator. The support is not repoped. Stick with a good small block radiator. The fit is better. Earl

I was gonna cut a repop sb core support. Mine is stamped where the bb opening is but I didn't want to cut the original. It would be a lot easier to use sb rad. I just wasn't sure it would be enough to cool the BB. Thank You.

BB rad dimensions are 29 1/2" wide by 18 1/2" tall..rad support opening measures 23". As for your 72SS Nova if it came with the L48 350 4bbl then the carb would be a QJ part#'s 7042203 s/t 7042202 for a/t Intake is a cast iron #6263751..exhaust manifolds were the log style and came with and without smog holes. You can find all these numbers and more in Colvin's book Chevy by the Numbers. The flap, radiator, shroud and other related items are avaialble from National Nostalgic Nova 717-252-4192..they are in York,PA. They can also help you with other hardware and mounts you will need for the swap along with good info and help..Ask for Wayne Bushey. Don't know if small block rad will handle BB cooling. BB was never available in the 72 but you can give it a "factory stock" look with the right parts. Good luck.
