Default Project engine info.

Here's some info/ questions on the 454 going into my 72 nova. Casting 140145445 marked "hi perf" ...mean anything? Heads are 820 castings mildly ported, cut for big valves and milled to achieve 10:1 comp with forged .125 dome pistons. cam has.520 lift supposedly crower copy of 375hp 396. Wish I knew. Intake is edel perf. 3.73 12 bolt. Need to build tranny and get converter. Any suggestions on changing anything before I finish putting it together? Thanks.

mortec.com lists 14015445 as a 78-90 2 or 4 bolt, youve listed 9 digits in the casting # ive only found 8 digit #'s, dont have my other casting books handy. if it were me i'd get a cam i knew the specs on for sure and match the converter to it, are you using a th350 or 400. an overdrive 4L80 would be nice but expensive. good luck.

Thanks! That was a misprint. The number is 14015445. I will go with a th350 for now since I have a few of them. will just have to build it strong
