Default 3932388 block help

A friend of mine is planning on selling a block that he has and needs to know what it is and what it is worth. The block apears to be a large journal block with the following numbers-

Casting#- 3932388
Cast Date- L17 8
Pad Vin- 19J198886
Pad Assembly- V0118HN

Any help on ID and value would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Correct, there were a handful of 69Z's and SS350's with this particular block.

Although you can probably reach more especially if you can find someone who needs this casting and date, there's one on eBay right now....who knows what it's really like but has a BIN of only $125....here's the link below. .
Good luck w/ the block sale, sounds like you've a nice buncha' cars....especially that L78 rag! .

Thanks, I wasn't too far off then I told him probably $200-250.

The L78 rag should (keeping fingers crossed) be finished and ready for show by next summer. As soon as it is done I will be posting before, during and after pics of the resto.
