I've only missed one woodward event and I feel that it has become too commercial. Next year,I'm going the weekend before
and really capture the essence of the motown car culture.
These are sunday morning pics of my sd dragcat and L78shuvell http://i8.tinypic.com/25gcxes.jpg

Betcha didn't even know it was gone for a few days did ya?
I can understand why you're a little jumpy lately when it comes to stuff like that.
This L78 is such a pile........been treated like a $1000 car its whole life.Bought it 'cause of GM docs,70 ce engine with R.O. from Herron chev, 5spd tremec, orig m21 in trunk and it goes like crazy! Remember that day I rented the track?
Couldn't hook the car up so I put Peg and all the kids in the back seat for a pass and I snapped an axle!
what a fun car... park anywhere ...drive anywhere....scare kids.....killer burnouts.I'll post the close ups so you can all get a good laugh!
Jimmy will get to it someday. http://i8.tinypic.com/25ioe9g.jpg

I did not take very many pictures this year, but there are a lot of great pics here Detroit News

(Make sure to click on "more Dream Cruise galleries" to see more that what is on that page.)

Bruno~ That's a great pic of your cars at Vinsetta's!

And BTW...It's definitely a good idea to get here the week before.

Here's a shot I managed to get. This year's Chevrolet billboard.

Heck with the car pics. I want to see and hear more about that garage. Looks like it even has a fireplace.

My thoughts too. Looks like a perfect 'residence' for most of us!
