March 17, 1970 Muncie M20.

That first number does look a bit odd with the last 5 being larger.

I'm not too worried about the 7 being "out of whack" because my old 27,000 original mile '70 camaro had the same funky stamp for the 7. What got me thinking is the 5 at the end of the stamping. I've seen some serious muscle optioned with the M20 tranny so again, not too, too worried there either.

Thank You!

on an 03D 1970 Camaro does that make logical sense?

I'd say that makes sense for an 03D 1970 Camaro.
I had a car that was built 5 days away from the stamping of it's Muncie.

As far as the large 5 goes, if the large 7 has been seen before, then I wouldn't be real worried about the 5 either.
Maybe some others will chime in about their experience.
