Default Parking brake release knob

Would like to replace mine. Part is relatively cheap, but a cursory look at the old one makes me think this is not as simple as I'd like.....?

How does it come off?

Thanks!

OK, I'm enbarassed.

Mine must just be stripped, because it spins around pretty freely but I was afraid to pull on it with any real force.

Thanks!
