Default Yenko gauges

When Yenko installed the gauges, where did the senders pass through the firewall, were holes drilled and was there any uniformity to the installations? Also how many gauges were usually installed, 2 or 3? Were they always SW greenlines? I know the firewall was pierced in the same place for tachs in all the cars but was just curious about the other gauges.

On the '70 Yenko cars, Yenko simply cut the tip off the firewall insulation pad nipple and ran the lines through the resulting 'grommet'. Generally, the gauge packages were 3 gauge units.

Thanks Marlin, Possibly installed the same way in '69? Were oil pressure and water temp mechanical or electric? Other gauge I assume was amps or volts. Anyway, saw a '69 Yenko featured on V8TV with original interior and it had a triple cluster with SW Deluxe gauges and wondered if they were originally installed by Yenko. Car was owned by Rich Girling.

Must have been a Lemans Blue with black stripes '69 Camaro with a/t??

The gauges I've seen were mechanical.

Nope, Fathom Green, white stripes, blk vinyl top and a 4 spd. Guy was beating it on the strip but said orginal engine, tranny, and rearend had been removed and stored away. He claimed car was original spec engine and tranny but it had a Dana rear. It was running 11.90's and guy claimed his 60' was way off.
