Did all LS-6's come with a 11 inch flywheel?
My friend swears that his LS-6 came with a 10 1/2 inch flywheel. He has a June built car. Thanks! John |

I have yet to encounter anything different on either the #3973454 M-22,or #3989300 TH400 LS-6 Flywheel.
On the L-78 TH400's,there were two different flywheels possible. One being the 11-1/2" #3868802 single bolt hole mounting pattern, the other the #3937736 with two staggered bolt hole patterns on it.(being 10-3/4 inner diameter & 11-1/2 outer dia.) |

A manual 10 1/2 inch GM externally balanced flywheel for a 454. I would love to see that one.
When racing I could not keep clutches in the ls6 with the best 11" available. I could not imagine what it would do with a 10 1/2. |
