70 Chevelle Camaro l78 ls6 accelerator cable

I have 3 of these cables part# 336969. 2 of them have a small white tag and the other has a bigger yellow tag. Which one is correct and which is the replacement? This for my l78 Camaro if that makes any difference . Thanks

Someone can correct me if I am wrong but at least for the 70 Chevelles, I believe the early originals had a white "CE" tag and the current replacements have a small yellow piece of tape with no prefix notation. I am not sure if Camaros are the same.

All 3 would be considered service replacements for the vehicles you mentioned,issued sometime around 1976.They should each be 21" long.
The original assembly line cable used on the Holley equipped 1970 Chevelle and Camaro,and 1971-2 LT-1 Camaro,was part #3972296.
Your cable was issued later on to fit the same vehicles & also accomadate the 1973 LT-1 Camaro.

Box 102 "Throttle Control Cable" on the Broadcast sheet of my '70 Z shows the letters "CC".

Dave, my L78 buildsheet also calls for "CC".

BTW, any pics of info about your car? Cool to have another L78 in the area.

Sorry for the delay, been working some crazy hours. I will get some pics up soon as I can get slides changed into pics. Right now the car is literally in a thousand pieces. The person who owned it passed away before any resto work was done, but they did start some bodywork which was cutting off the quarters to high in the roof. Best thing is that are the tough parts are there dual snorkel, origonal complete engine, etc. Looking at the slides in the light, quarters didn't look bad at all, even being from Minnesota.
