What is the correct restoration/appearance of a factory reverse lockout set up on 69 70 BB Novas and Camaros? Does the bracket assembly get painted Semi gloss or gray/black phosphate. I know the rods and bolts get phosphated. I have 3 of these to do and any help is appreciated. Thx

I have the linkage on my W30 4 speed done in gold cad as there was evidence of older cad on some original parts. All the rods and arms in gold cad and all the pivots and nuts and bolts in Siver cad or zinc.
