NO 3 Speed Manual trans,3 Speed Turbo 400. Although the Base Manual Trans in 1970 was the Heavy Duty Muncie 3 Speed you had too get a M-22 Manual Trans behind a LS-6.

Yeah, I figured that, but I thought I'd ask. A friend of mine runs a little Chevrolet salvage yard, and gets some neat stuff in frequently. Awhile back he got ahold of a 70 SS454, stick rolling shell. He tracked it back to original owner's best friend, and he said he remembered it being an LS-6 with a 3-speed stick, but I was fairly certain that was wrong.
