If all goes as planned, I will be at the track on Thursday, then hanging out at the park on Firday. Hope to make my first pass in Red Alert.

-----Rob,,,If you get a chance, tell me what RPM Tom came out at and what the tires had for air??? How sticky did he get the tires as well??? Sounds as if he didnt get the tires above terra firma and that just about has to happen for a good 60ft. Assuming he shifted at about 7000. Glad he got down OK though.......Bill S

New tires, so we haven't heat cycled 'em yet...and, if you've ever ran @ Music City, you know the burnout box is a little hokey as it's against the back fence and you have to back into it, without a spotter it's a bit tedious...anyway, I told him to start a little high on the psi until we can check for the pattern, so we're around 8-9. He did tell me his burnouts weren't that great, and everyone else was complaining that the hook was *always* horrible there...seems like his short times were in the 1.7s, which is several tenths off where that car should be...typical grudge night prep it sounded like. I was pleased to see the mph seemed in the ballpark, though...out of curiosity, do you remember any of your split times?

[Edit: didn't answer your question! He said he left on the brake the first pass, and it drifted bad since the track sucked, so he just foot braked it from there on out ~2500 and it seemed to like it...]
