2016 hotels?

Bob, the original owners of my SD455, Rick and Lenora Stein are trying to book a room at the Doubletree for their long awaited reunion with the SD455 in November 2016. They called on 01/02/16 and the hotel reservations desk is told them that unless they are car show staff, the hotel is sold out.

Any idea what is up with that? They need as close to the show venue as possible given their "non-Spring Chicken status" as Rick puts it.

Contracts were signed for all five of our Official Host Hotels, but for some reason, all direct link special rate booking blocks must go through a corporate system before they become &quot;live&quot; even though the rooms are blocked, which is why they say they are sold out when you call. Lenora sent me an email today saying they were sucessful in reserving their MCACN room at the Doubletree this morning. All is well!
