Thanks for this! I did own a 69 COPO 427 Chevelle engine and the car came from the Kansas City plant! I am still looking for this car as the engine was removed in '72 when the owner traded the Chevelle for a 1972 Corvette! I bought the engine from his garage where he had stored it for 40+ years!

Looks like you’re right Bruce, especially being a Black Fremont car.
‘02 Feature notes POP but nothing in Mecum Ad also why no NCRS Report?

The mecum ad says it had the protecto-plate and so does the 02 feature.looks like they went back to stock wheel setup otherwise it looks the same. You could assume it’s at least a 25 year old restoration based on the 23 year old feature. I’ll be at mecum Indy if you need feedback on it. I own 2 69 copo chevelles and would be happy to help you spend your money!
