Radiator flush.

Getting the crud out of the radiator. Has anyone used Lime-A-Way or CLR to clean them? I have heard this works like a charm. Want to be sure though.

Darren, Take the radiator out and take it to a shop.Let them flush it and if it does leak after the flush, they can repair it. It is worth the little work because when you get it together and it leaks I will here that Sicilian temper from here. Won't even cost much. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

Radiator doesn't have any leaks. I just wanted to get some of the gunk out.

Bring it A-Len over here on Ogden,next to where that Deuce was,while you have it out of the car.
Lenny will flush it,& test it all for a minimal charge.
He is very good,& it will insure you are good to go..

You can do it yourself but it is usually less than 100.00 to have a rad shop do it and they usually do a good job. Just make sure you tell them to not lose the tag.

If the radiator has crud in it, most likey the entire cooling system does as well.

Do yourself a favor and drain/flush the engine block Pull the drain plugs located on the lower block. You may need to dislodge the crap in the block after the plugs are removed. You'll be amazed at what comes out!

Its a easy Saturday task using the right tools and well worth your time and effort.

Oh boy. All I wanted to do was put the heads on and paint up the motor.
