Default Tach

Guys A friend has a tach he says it is 6000-8000 tach and I think the redline is 5700 not sure. What does this fit, maybe early or late 69 Z. What is the value. Thanks Doug

I saw one too lately. It's a first for me. There is a Local 1969 L78 automatic Chevelle, and I believe that is where I saw The tach. After looking at about 2500 cars over the last couple of weeks, I'm not sure what I saw or where. I'll double check when I get a chance.

I see that they are selling these 5700 redline tachs on e-bay now.

If the tach is a 69 camaro that was only used on the Z28 from mid year to close to end of production(6000-8000). The end of production tachs were 6500 redline 8000 max. Early Z's used the same tach as L78's 6000 redline 7000 max. Do you have a pic of the tach??

I paid $350 for a 5500 redline L34/35 tach a year ago. I would say 400-600 range. Jim at Heartbeat city had a few a couple of months ago, check his site.
