Default 70 LT-1 ZR-1 Corvette

Does anyone have any information on the Joe Amatos red ZR-1 that is on ebay now? Looks like a pretty clean car. Thanks, Larry.

Very nice... wonder if it is a survivor or what? It appears to have some replacement worm hose clamps, red heater hoses... etc under the hood. Looks like a good detailing and some limited parts and it would be real nice.
I always loved the LT-1's and the first time I ever saw a ZR-1 I was hooked... No radio no creature comforts at all!

I would like to see some paperwork photos and also a good pad pic. BTW the color seems too red. Monza red is an orangy red but maybe it is just the lighting.

Steve,

I think so too. The pictures make it look more like Mille Miglia red than Monza red. I was sent a picture of the Corvette Order Copy. It appears to be legitimate. I've been thinking of throwing a bid on this one as well. If I was going to own a small block 'vette, I would want a ZR1 packaged car.

I thought the ad indicated there is no factory documentation. Is there a factory order copy? Based on the PICS, I would have a hard time believing it is real.

Regards,

Mark

Bill,

I did not know that. That would be a nice one to have. Is he putting it thru Mecums auction there?

Most of the ZR1's are in Indiana, Ed Foss has a bunch of them.
