Ugh, this one hurts. May he rest in peace. An extraordinary talent.

That sucks. I knew he wasn't doing great but I didn't know how bad things were. A Master of his craft... RIP

RIP Eddie, the original Van Halen was my favorite band in the prime of my life, Many good memories in my life because of the great Music that came from this Guitarist and his band members, I thank him for it!!
My Memorabilia on the band when I went to the concert, April 1984 with Original Ticket/Program/Michael Anthony Guitar Pick and later in 2007 when they reunited with David again.

Saw him in 79 at Cobo Hall in Detroit. I couldn’t wait for each album after that even the Van Hagar days. Tons of air guitar playing over the years and bantering with friends on who is the best of all time..... Eddie is definitely in the Top and I have enjoyed getting my now adult kids to enjoy his playing. Saw the tour with him and Wolfie.
Eddie will live on through his music |
