ACDelco A212CW Air filter Application Question
I have had this filter in my shop for over thirteen years at this point, and I actually forgot that I had it. After doing a little research, the mesh and color of the filter material suggest that it is for a 65-69 Corvette, but the silk screen lettering seems to be a little different than I would expect. The box that it was in looks like it is for early 70's GM cars, but I am not sure that it is the right one. Can anybody give me any clarification as to the application and maybe value??

Re: ACDelco A212CW Air filter Application Question
The only thing I can offer is the box has a bar code and they started use in 1974-75.

Re: ACDelco A212CW Air filter Application Question
That modern day bar code and the latest model year application is what I would go by.Meaning if 1980 was the highest year application shown, that was when it was sold brand new,as they didn't list the next model year cause it hadn't happened yet.
Looks to be circa 1978 or 79.Can't make out the numbering too clearly from here. |

Re: ACDelco A212CW Air filter Application Question
That is the continued run of 14" open element filters ....still marketed today.....
$50-$150 depends who , when and where its advertised at the time of need. The "Real ones" have a coated square mesh in galvanized dip. $300-$700.......for those if you can find one for sale.
