Default Loose SS Emblem

I was cleaning/servicing Karen's 69 Camaro today and noticed the SS emblem on drivers side frt fender was loose. How does one "conveniently" get to the back of that emblem to tighten it..??

I'll bet you will have to pull out or pull back the inner fender well to get back into there...

You can't easily reach it from the inside by the fender well. You need to completely loosen the fender / inner fender well, then remove the bottom bolts and carefully pull back the fender and snake the skinniest arm up there you can find!

Craftsman makes a set of really long, really thin, open end wrenches that may reach in there. I would still suggest unbolting the bottom fender bolts and wheel well area inner fender to fender bolts and then gently wedging the bottom of the fender out for clearance.

They should be barrel clips if not you have to loosen the 3 of the wheelwell screws 1/2" and the 2 9/16" bolts at the bottom and use an open end if someone changed them to speed nuts I think 7/16" and just pull the fender out enough to get your arm in there.

Try Goop glue a tiny dab in a few areas of the emblem and your good to go, and will never know it and it will stay in place for a long time.
