Default Rough day at the office for some of us

If found please return to NASA

[ QUOTE ]
In this image from NASA TV, a tool kit bag, top right, floats to the right and rear of the International Space Station, Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008. The bag was being used by astronaut Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper during a scheduled 6 1/2-hour spacewalk. Stefanyshyn-Piper lost grasp of it during a procedure and it floated away. Not the first technician to have their tool kit walk away, or in this case, float away...

Now, where did I put that 3/8 socket?

the AP News article stated they noticed a small screw float by them as well and they have no idea on where it came from either. I would bet that tool bag (size of a back pack) and its tools cost as much as a 3 bedroom house

The helmet cam video is priceless.
Astronaut reaches into a bin of tools, and brushes a bag holding a caulking gun etc. out of the way..all while digging deeper into the box and not realizing that tool bag is slowly floating farther out into space while making a futile attempt to retrieve it with his tethered hand..

Wonder if the hyphenated name had something to do with it.

Why wasn't the bag tethered to her?
The AP also said that the caulking gun exploded in the bag, and that she had silicon on her gloves and space suit. Will Goof Off work on that?
