Default chevelle rims

I just looked at the dates on a set of extra set of wheels I have and found out that the dates are 7 11 YA
Are these wheels for a 1968 car?

I've never heard of a YA dated that early for 1968,but anything is possible.
7-July
11-Day
YA-model application
What's the stamp to the left of the number 7..?
It should reveal the FINAL assembly date code,as in M5 over the number 9 for 1969,or 8 for 1968.

They are probably for an early 70 vehicle....seems a little too late for 69 model year....but, ya never know. Novas used these wheels also for the 1970 SS cars.

I have had an early 70 Chevelle with YA wheels on the vehicle and the buildsheet. October built El Camino L78 from Baltimore plant so yes they could have been used on a 70 vehicle.

could be for a very late 69 chevelle SS also possibly a copo as a lot of them were built late in the model year.

That's a possibility too.
My 70 Chevelle was assembled Oct.24th,1969 at Kansas Leeds plant, and came with YA coded rims also.
