I have a small journal Z/28 crank with forging number 3823474. And yes, I put my glasses on and checked it twice. Considering selling, as I do not have a 67 Z/28. It has the single offset "V" notch in the flange so I know it is definitely for a 302, not a 283. Still standard on rods and mains. Am considering selling, but don't want to misrepresent it. Has anyone ever heard of this forging number? Was it an over the counter replacement?
Can't find it in any reference material. I know the parts references may not even state the forging number, as it does not necessariy correlate with the part number. any guidance? Thanks for any help. Lynn
