Default 11.21 @ 124 daily driver

Thought you guy might like to see my good friend's 11.21 @ 124 daily driver Subaru in action.

My friend has been involved in drag racing since the late '60's early '70's having the most success with Kawasaki drag bike's. Although he now concentrates mostly on rowing, this is what he did to his family truckster!

That is cool. Along with muscle cars, I like 1st generation quattro cars. I have an 87 4000 with a 20 valve 5 cylinder turbo car. Audi was cutting edge in awd back in the day. I also dig the fact they were doing COP ignition 10 years before anyone.

Those STI Subaru's have done a lot for brining small chassis turbo awd cars some serious credit. Because of them, I refer to dyno hp as measured at the wheels. Amazing to see well mannered dasily drivers making 500 hp at the wheels with 2~2.5 liters AND getting 25 mpg!
