Default Winter Projects ?

What are you restoring / having restored this winter?

In between customer projects I plan on geting some work done on my 66 Mustang (I know that is a bad word on here). My mother bought it when I was 7. It is nothing special, 289/Auto coupe, except to me.

I just picked up a L89 optioned 1969 Camaro Big Block RS/SS car. It is a highly optioned car and looks great in garnet red with 711 base black interior.

I also acquired a stunning 1967 Shelby GT500 pro touring car. This car is amazing to say the last. Retrofitted with a 2004 supercharged SVT Cobra motor and 6 speed trans as well as full coil over suspension. The motor looks like it was born there.

These are not winter projects but winter toys

Minor detail work, install the original radio, and send out the carb to Eric.

Nice project Mike. I have restored several dozen of the 64-66 Mustangs including a couple GT350H cars and they are a pleasure to do and relatively simple (assuming the bodies are sound). Yours should look great when you get her done.

I sold all my projects due to lack of time to work on my own stuff but we have been talking about finding another 'project' car to build, even leaning towards a street rod or a Day II street machine and one we can drive the wheels off of. Time will tell.........

LOL! You guy's don't have projects, this is my winter project! Hope to have the sheet metal completed by spring. I think I am going with a more modern drive line. Just focusing on the sheet metal first.

Jason
