Can anyone help get a hood from Ventura, CA up to Eureka, MT or even closer to home? I found a mint original 1969 Camaro SS hood with original paint and the seller is reluctant to ship it... he will help out, but he's concerned that it would get damaged, etc.
Anyone going that route or got any suggestions? Thanks! |

Suggetion, you need to get a repop hood box sent to him so he can pack it accordingly,,,,,some camaro houses like camaro specialities will probably have a few sitting around .... or crate it.

If I remember right I think there is an aftermarket camaro parts supplier located in Ventura that could have a left over hood box. You may be better off with a box from a local body shop and reinforcing it with wood on the inside. I just sent a couple of large inner fender liners from California to Florida by Greyhound bus lines and that worked out great.

Had the same problem with a NOS hood. Wound up building a plywood crate and shipped it via common carrier truck. Marked it 'TOP LOAD ONLY'. Arrived in perfect condition and the shipping cost was very reasonable.

Dynacorn in Oxnard(very close to Ventura) should have a box. Either that or National Parts Depot in Ventura.
