Default air cleaner base

Do any of you folks know if the air cleaner base is the same on a 69 L-78 Chevelle, and a 70 L-34 Chevelle. I have an opportunity to get it off an original 70, but I haven't seen it, and I'm thinking the large tube that goes to the valve cover is different than a 69??

Bill, I am pretty sure they are different.. Not only the tube but also because of the low rise intakes in 70...

I had an open element 70 LS5 air cleaner and compared it to my 69 L78 air cleaner. The only difference I saw was that the vent tube came off the base at a different angle. As stated above, This probably was due to the low rise intake manifold in 1970.
