I am working on a great early 1970s street/strip "day 2" 69 Camaro. I got a balanced 383 with the car, but I am a big block guy and not up on my 383 knowledge. If I decide to use this motor is there any suggestions to the combination?
350 4 bolt balanced short block SKAT 4340 crank H-Beam rods between 9.5-10:1 compression (now) Dart Platinum Iron Eagle 200cc/64cc heads Dart single plane intake 306intake/314exhaust .558 lift roller I was going to do some headwork and bump the compression to about 11.5 or 12:1. The other delima is the car is an X22, so I may just stay with a big block. Any thoughts? |
