Hey guys. haven't been on in a while. finally sold my 442. Just picked up a 6-banger '69 Nova yesterday. It's an all original car from Wisconsin. All original paint, interior, etc, etc. Still has the original spare tire. Pretty sure it has less than 20K original miles. I'll post some pics when I get it. Sadly, it has Wisconsin rust from being driven in the winter in the usual spots. However, the trunk and floor panels are pristine.
Anyway, my post is about tires. I need some new tires for it. I want black walls (would rather not turn white walls inside). Still has the original 14 x 6 rims with dog dish caps. What tire size, brand would you recommend. Not looking to break the bank here. Just would like some nice tires. I know I've seen a few nice Nova's on here (one was recetly in MCR I think) with some good blackwall radials. I appreciate it. |

Damn, I just realized I put this in the wrong forum. Sorry about that. Mods, feel free to move it to the correct one.

I'd be interested in anyone's suggestions as well as I have been looking for blackwall radials for the original 14 x 6 wheels for my car which had F78-14 blackwalls from the factory.
Closest thing I found over the last few months of looking is a 195 or 205/75/14 Uniroyal Tiger Paw whitewall (whitewall on inside). Hard to believe this is so hard to find. Jake |
