I am looking to purchase a corvette that is overseas but have no experience dealing with shipping companies or the shipping process does anyone know of a safe reliable company that ships classic cars from foreign countrys back to the USA. Or could tell me more about this process.

I beleive different countries have different laws. Some are probably easier than others. I would contact our members from Sweden, as some of thier cars are now back in the states !! But I would try to get country specific info.
I have some friends with experience in S. America importing and exporting autos. If the car is there, I will gladly contact my friend and ask. |

I would suggest contacting Proteam. I would think they would have some good advise. Perhaps Stefano could chime in as well.

I shipped several cars from europe to usa....my recommendation is dont try to figure it out by yourself....a good rep shipper will know all the details, paperwork, process, picking it up, getting it to the EU shipping, put it in a container and they have all the contacts on the other end as well.
