Did anyone ever have a problem with original windlace that is to hard?Installed original pieces and they are so hard the door sticks out. How could you get them soft?anyone?? thanks John

I had this happen about ten years ago on my '67. I bought a new windlace set, on eBay I think, and it was too thick and the doors would not shut properly. I then bought a better repop from a local musclecar parts shop and it was much more accurate and worked perfectly.
