Default 1969 W32 question

The sales papers on the 1969 W32 state it comes with 15 inch wheels with f 60 15 polyglass tires or 14 inchers with red stripe wide ovals, what wheel would the 15 inch version be? I thought the hurst style wheels were the only 15 inch option. thanks for any input

You are correct, the only car in the Olds Cutlass lineup with the 15" rim was the '69 H/O.

I have a convert w32 car and when I bought it there was hurst style 15" rims on it. I am trying to figure out if it was possible to get these dime on this car and if not. What 15" rims are correct.

I'm not a wheel/tire guy so I can't offer any insight other than I don't think the wheels would be anything different from the OEM RPO available for the 4-4-2.

FWIW, the memo you posted is an updated one from the original release because the original one included W-42 stripes as standard. They later changed the package before production to make them optional.

From the supporting paperwork, I would say that it is possible, but I had never seen it. The Hurst rims are the only 15" SSII wheel that was done until about '75. If you have the rims, put the F60-15 Polyglas RWL NS on them. That was the correct tire for '69.
