Hey Ed
My posting did say clone, I didn't want any misunderstanding. He wants the clone so he can go pound it and not worry about beating up a real one.
Steve
You have had some cool cars...

I dont think a clone will be cheap, for a little more he can get a real one and still drive it!! Will have to be an auto with maybe not matching drivetrain. Was doing 135 mph in a SuperBird not to long ago and the best part about it, there was more!! Till a car pulled into the fast lane at 65, the drum brakes worked like a charm.. LOL!! All I can say is enjoy what ever it is 5k car to 5 million.....
Almost 50yrs old and I guess I will never grow up because I will still go sideways in the real car and at the end of the day! I replace the tires, no harm done to the car that was built for that!! Just my 3 cents!!

They are neat cars. I had that 440 auto Superbird back in High School and a hemi Daytona in the early 1990s. The amazing thing about these cars is that you could see the aerodynamics in action: On both cars, if you had the vent windows open, when you hit 60 mph, the airflow would rotate them closed like they were electrically powered. My regular nosed B-bodies would not do this.
