Default "Snake & Mongoose" movie

I did some surfing and it seems this movie is only showing in about 20 theaters in certain parts of the United States. More may be added I suppose, but it probalby won't make it up to my little corner of Ontario. Although the reviews have been terribe, I would still like to watch it. Anybody out there seen it?

Seen it Friday night here in STL. It's got some cheesy dialogue, so-so acting and lots of details that the hardcore drag racing fan can spot from two miles away but it's still quite watchable. Female viewers really seemed to like it. I'll also add that during the closing credits when they showed vintage footage, every single person stayed in their seat until the screen turned black and the theater lights came back on. I've never seen that happen before . . . it must've been a crowd of real drag race fans in there!

I saw it at the red carpet premier showing during hot august nights in Reno; most if not all of the race footage is actual vintage footage from the day. Kind of a sad story but shows how close two guys that wanted to race for a living could be and how fortunate most of us really are. These guys made it to the big time because of each other.

Will probably make cult status if anything if the reviews aren't too good. Can't wait to get my copy to add to my car movie collection. Anybody know where I can get "Heart like a wheel"? Haven't been able to locate a copy.

Great movie and one in my collection as well. Do you have Funny Car Summer? Another great cult movie.

I don't have that one either. I just found the original "Gone in 60 Seconds" movie a few years ago on VHS.
