Default 1973 Nova questions

My son called me and said he found a 73 Nova in town. I told him to take some pics and I'll post here. Asking price is $6500.00. I think the question I have is, is this Nova noteworthy compared to the 68-72's? My son tell's me there have been some $13000.00 worth of work on the car already. New 350,325 hp engine, automatic trans, ball joints and stuff like that. I know this is a little vague, I won't know much until he comes home with the pics and other info. I'm thinking 6500 is cheap but I haven't a clue on how the 73's fit in the mix with the other year Nova's for price.

The 68-72 models are certainly more popular...but the 73's and 74's have a good following among Nova fans. Pictures would help for us to offer some feedback...but that price seems reasonable if the car is all there. If it has a solid body, decent interior and a fresh driveline...the $6500 price is very good. Not sure what the $13k in work was....but, it sounds promising. Post some pics and we will see what it looks like.

I'll post what I can get from my son as soon as he gets home. Not exactly sure how much of the car is original. I may have to go take a good look at it myself tomorrow. I think that 13000.00 has the price of the engine in there too, but not sure.

I believe a member here is restoring a 1973 Hatchback.
