I had a '70 SS396 Chevelle that must have been done by the same guy...flares and all. Could be a cool car with some cleaning up, and I would need to jettison that hoodscoop too.

Black car with a white top - not a common combo.
How about the axle. Looks to have multileaf perches, but someone added a 67 radius rod to it.

The body man played "pin the tail on the donkey" with the emblems. He even used a few from '68.
No RS rocker trim. Could have been filled, but that is a lot of work to put on a spear. |

I like it! I have a 73 TA with a similar story.
I think these early show cars have been grossly under valued and unfortunately many of them have been lost to time or restored to original.
