Default BATTERY CABLES

ON A 06A NORWOOD BUILT CAMARO SHOULD IT HAVE TOP POST OR SIDE POST BATTERY CABLES OR ARE BOTH CORRECT FOR THAT BUILD DATE

What I heard was towards the end of May they changed over to the side post, my 05E camaro i put a side post

If it did, And I think it would have, there is piercing on the inner fender for the cable to run in..BKH

Since we are on the topic of batteries would it be ok to say that in 1969 the R59 battery be the predecessor to the Y77 or were both used at the same time? Just curious about these two. Thanks.

I currently own a 1969 Camaro SS350. Although the original drivetrain is long gone, this 4/speed car has a March '69 HC coded block with #041 heads. The transmission is an M20 Muncie #660 case and the rearend is a BS coded 12 bolt posi. Built in Van Nuys.
