Default 1970 CHEVROLET NOVA 396 SS FATHOM BLUE ALL ORGNL

Okay guys and gals, before I get started if by posting this and I am against the forum rules please pm me and let me know. With that out of the way, I am trying to track down my fathers old car. He bought this car NEW from a Chevrolet dealership in Winter Park, Florida. This was his first big purchase after getting out of the Airforce and serving in Vietnam. After I was just a few years old, my father had to sell the car due to a financial issue with his job ( can you imagine?!). Well, fast forward a while and here I am, now 27, and my father is in his late 70's. Time is running out for him and I have been trying to find this all original car because he is so upset he had to sell it and im doing everything in my power to track down the owner to talk, maybe go and see the car with my father, or possibly buy the car back depending on the situation. ANY information that you awesome car enthusiasts have on possibly seeing this car somewhere or even knowing the owner in a certain way would be greatly appreciated. I would love to be with my father again with his dream car that he had to sell before its too late. I hope yall understand and dont hate me for trying to use resources!

Info on the car- The car is NOT a Yenko car. The car is a LOW mileage car, probably 20,000 ish miles. The car is 100 percent Original. I do have the VIN number as well as engine number, transmission number and the rear axle number. As well as photos of the car when he had it!

The car is a 1970 Chevrolet NOVA SS 396 bored over to a 402 from the factory but the cars emblems are 396 ( which was original) Fathom blue on factory rally wheels, blue interior ( i believe vinyl but could be leather) Deluxe trim package. The car could have a different breather set up now, but when it sold it had a Z28 cow plentum breather.

Please feel free to email me with any information regarding my fathers car.. the original owner who bought her new from the dealership. [email protected]

Just as a ending comment, I have contacted a few different owners of the car, but have hit a wall. the last person that i know of that had or might still have this car is a gentleman named Dick Hubbard out of Scottsdale, Arizona, but i do not have a way to contact him and I dont know if he still has the car. Thanks in advance for any information and please contact me with questions or info. [email protected]

Thank you guys for the kind words I hope this post will bring me upon something. The car even had a spread in Super Chevy magazine! Which we still have that magazine with the shoot ! This is super important and sentimental to me and our family!

It was not that dealership, it was Jim Wrathman (sp?) Chevrolet

Yes that is him. The gentleman that sold him the car said he's not sure if he has it or not but he did say that those guys are extremely hard to get ahold of on things like this. He gave me a number to I belive his son which lives in Indiana and I left a voicemail a few weeks ago and have not heard back. So now I am here.. hopefully something happens. Thanks so far guys.
