Does anyone know what the closet drag strips to Grand Island, NY were in the late 60's and 70's?

I remember Niagara Dragway and Lancaster Dragway/Speedway. Niagara was near the Niagara Falls, NY airport. From what I understand it's been closed. Lancaster was right next to the New York State thruway, route 90, not far from the Buffalo airport. I remember as a kid going down the thruway in the back of my Dads '62 Belair, when the traffic would slow down because of all the tire smoke blowing across the road from the Lancaster strip. That image really stuck in my head!

Niagara is now Empire drag way . It is still operating. There also was a street named Ohio street that was used illegally for drag racing back in the day. Really crazy and dangerous but what a cool place it was to go!

Empire isn't anywhere close to where Niagara was located. Did they just buy the rights to the name?
