Default Unrestored LS6 value?

Hello everyone.

I have an unrestored 1970 LS6 Chevelle. The car has 23,305 original miles. Turbo 400 with shifter on the floor. Misty turquoise with black stripes and a black vinyl top. Am/fm 8 track. Cowl induction. The car is beautiful and documented with build sheet and window sticker. I am the 2nd owner and the car has been ours since 1986. The car is going to auction later this month and I'm trying to get a value for it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

....and since both build sheet and window sticker are (unfortunately) easily replicated, it would be helpful to include good pictures of them. If you have some proof of having had possession of them since your ownership of the car (from 1986), that would be very helpful, since NO ONE was replicating either item in or prior to 1986.

If the car is already slated for auction then don't you already know it's value?

Misty Turquoise is a rare color especially on LS6's. I think I have a few in my data base including the LS6 convertible I restored as well as another well known convert and a few coupes. However there is a smaller audience who are interested in that color so that may hurt a little though both converts and at least one coupe have brought good money in the past. If the car is going to Indy there are a lot of LS6'S will be there so that could also hurt a little. I will be there looking for LS6 cars for a couple of clients. I would be very interested in learning more about the car before I go if you wouldn't mind sending me some information and photos. Condition, paperwork and born with drivetrain mean everything and this car could do quite well. What plant is it from and what is the production date?

According to the intro to a 1983 article in Super Chevy , Bill Petriko of Triple A Enterprises already was repopping window stickers.. "For years,, he has been selling exact reproduction window stickers for Chevrolets, Corvettes, Novas, Chevelles, Camaros and other models."

So, it was being done WAY before 1986.

My 68 SS427 had a repop window sticker that came from TAE on it when I bought the car in 1981.
